What is this?

Lionvite is stud gov's latest initiative to encourage Lakeside students to connect with new peers. All you have to do is fill out a short survey, and we'll find the right match for you. Low-stakes and humorous 🙂

So how exactly does this work?

1. Make an account once the survey opens.
2. Fill out the fun questions!
3. Indicate up to 10 people you don’t want to match with.
4. Indicate what your lunches and free periods are.

On March 6th, we'll pair you up with someone compatible for friendship based on your survey responses. You'll get an email with the name of your match as well the date and time for a lunch or free period meeting.

Is this a platonic thing, or...?

This is 100%, absolutely, undeniably platonic.

I'm a freshman. Will I get matched with one of those scary seniors?

Fear not! We understand that everyone wants to meet different kinds of people. You'll have the option to indicate preferences for the grade of your match.

How do I make sure I don't match with someone I already know?

In the form, you'll get a chance to indicate up to 10 people you don’t want to match with.
